Stitch Their Names Together

Mary Evers was born in Dublin and grew up in the Arab countries of the Mashriq, where her father worked with Palestinian refugees. From childhood, she developed a deep connection with Palestinian culture, strengthened by her studies in Arabic and French at the Notre Dame de Sion school in Jerusalem. This multicultural background continues to inspire her vision and work to this day.

Her professional journey has spanned various fields. After initial training in biochemistry and an “experience as a computer engineer, she practiced as an osteopath for over thirty” years. Upon retirement, Mary directed her commitment toward humanitarian causes and activism, with particular focus on the rights of the Palestinian people.

Drawing from her diverse career and life experiences, today she dedicates her energy to projects that weave together memory, resilience, and community.
