Catalina Huala

Correa (Chile, 1999)

Visual artist. She has developed her work around an imaginary of penumbras, blurred and uncertain. Working with both analog and digital media, she explores material and symbolic relationships with darkness, a place where she immerses herself in her deepest thoughts, evoking memories and anxieties. She has participated in various residencies and exhibitions, including Golpe Bienal SACO 1.1, Post-school The State of Things at the Isabel Croxatto Gallery, AJOCHI Residency, the Chilean Video Art Cycle at the ISLA+ exhibition center, Sol Negro (solo exhibition) at Balmaceda Arte Joven Los Lagos, and many others.
